Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some insights into the BNP Paribas Global Markets Summer Analyst program:

  1. Friendliness of Company:

    • BNP Paribas is noted for having a more relaxed timeline compared to other banks, which might reflect a more laid-back culture.
    • The company is well-respected in the European circuit, suggesting a professional and reputable environment.
  2. Hours/Work-Life Balance (WLB):

    • Specific details on hours and work-life balance for BNP Paribas Global Markets are not provided in the context. However, general insights from other banks indicate that hours can be long, especially in investment banking roles. For example, experiences in other banks like JPM and BAML suggest that hours can be brutal, often extending late into the night.
  3. Opportunities for Advancement:

    • BNP Paribas may not have as strong a footprint in the US compared to Europe, but it is worth exploring for those interested in international corporate finance or structured finance.
    • The company is respected, which can provide good opportunities for advancement, especially in the European market.

Their internship is known to have a good return rate, chill hours, and good culture.

I can only speak on the NY office, but their WLB is known to be some of the best on the street with great PTO (that they actually respect boundaries for). They have been rapidly expanding headcount in all NY groups for years now and don't seem to be stopping anytime soon. Seems like a great place to be.

Anyone hear back about ac for sa 2026 in London? Did first round a week ago personally

french banks in general have good WLB in their NYC (don't know about GB) offices and great benefits if u get FT -- know people who were SAs and it was reasonable and decent conversion. 2024 was good but 2025 slightly less so. friendly but do keep in mind a good portion of the traders (esp in EQD) will be french with different attitudes than u might be used to
