bp analytics grad track opportunities?
Recently received offer to join bp as an analytics grad in London. I have FR interviews at Equinor in their Trading,analysis and Low Carbon grad scheme and summer internship at Rystad Energy. Hoping to progress through rounds at Market Makers like Dare and other oil majors ( shell, glencore etc).
Wondering what the opportunities for bp analytics grad are in future and how does it weigh up against other firms I mentioned. Program is 3 years rotational with potential rotations as trade strategy, structuring and modelling. Interested in trading but think bp has a great analytics program and culture for young talent.

Apparently so, I called the number on their website for UK graduate schemes '0800 279 2088'. The lady that answered said if they aren't open now it is not going to open this year. There are supposedly no more planned oppenings. But I have never seen them not take a trading track cohort? Just our luck that our grad year they don't I guess.
Damm, yeah I always thought BP was mainly grad hiring not summer converts. Just shows how much more mainstream/hyped commods trading has become after the last few years lol
