BP Sophomore Program and Trading Path

I’m a sophomore and I go to a school that basically only focuses on IB. I’m from Houston though and the energy industry is something that interests me—I actually have a corporate banking internship in energy this summer.

I know nothing about the Trading career path, especially in energy. But I was invited to a BP program for this January and I’ll be applying to their Sophomore Trading program soon.

What are the basics about this career path? What is the progression, what’s the pay, what are the hours, who are the names, and most importantly what is the work like?

Any advice you all can give would be very appreciated.
