Career Pivot RE/Construction to S&T
Hey Everyone,
First time posting on here so let’s see how it goes. I have undergrad in Finance (Average GPA) from an average school.
I have been trying for years to break into S&T with no luck and I have been tried everything. To date, I’ve worked on over 300MM worth of projects in my real estate development and construction management experience. I’m. 3 years into my career and absolutely hate it. My passion is in financial markets and always has been. I tried to make the best out of what I was doing and make a career out of it but it’s not for me.
Im contemplating grad school and have been applying for more financial positions (GS, JPM ETC). Only progress is a phone interview with GS and the possibility of a super day under their early careers program.
Any thoughts or insight? I have heavy experience in client relationships and continue to trade and learn more on the markets daily to keep an edge.
