Compliance Analyst vs Financial Analyst
I am working at a small firm centered around a rates trading desk. I was doing execution trading for 8 months (which could be considered S&T, albeit with very little skills involved) but due to overstaffing was moved to a different department (compliance).
I now have a choice of having a title of either compliance analyst or financial analyst. The duties of each will be the same - running P&L, assisting analyzing trades, company financial statements, some back office functions, etc.
I have a long term goal of moving to Front Office (Equity Research, acutal Trading, etc). Which title would be most beneficial for this?
