I'm an incoming intern at a BB (JPM/GS/MS), and I was curious about what a convertible bond desk at a bank does. Is it similar to the type of pod doing convertible arbitrage at a HF, or is it much different? If so, how different is it, and what can I expect? Overall, is it enjoyable?
