Quite decent, in fact... Taitie, the guy who runs it, has been arnd a while and is very good.
CS is not a flow monster like Deutsche, Citi, UBS, and Barx, but they are competitive and provide solid analysis.
CS is solid. Not DB or Citi, but they do well.
It's in Switzerland by the way. So it's probably better regarded than CS FX London or NY comparatively.
Really? I was under the impression the FX business was all in London and NYC.
Sorry I wasn't clear enough.
What I meant is that CS FX is probably "better" in Switzerland since CS is part of the big players here with UBS. It probably has more volume/clients here compared to other BB than CS FX London or NY comparatively in London or NY.
Same with BB and their home country:
Deutsche Bank in Germany Barclays in the UK GS/MS/... in US
