Hi, I am currently enrolled in a top five MFE program in the US. Before grad school, I worked in investment research for four years. I am interested in sales and trading internships at bulge bracket banks but noticed that they only have summer analyst positions. Will I be over qualified? TBH I don't mind working as a summer analyst, but say if I obtain a return offer after the internship, is it possible to start at the associate level given that I've worked for a relatively long time in the industry? Thanks!
