Desk Placement FXO or Rates?
Interested in macro and looking to maximize transferable skills for buy-side transition (if decide to in the future- just to keep my options open). Looking into FX Options and Rates (swaps/treasuries - not options) at a BB. Would appreciate any insights in terms of career trajectory, skillset, comp etc.
What do you study? At my bank fxo is a good bit more quantitative than the swaps desk
