eFX Trader - exit opportunity

Hi!

I’m considering a position as an execution eFX trader (agency desk) at a sell-side bank (it’s a junior role - avp title). They only offer me the same base as my current job and don't have any promise in the bonus range.

My current job is a quant research analyst at a buy-side company. I need to leave asap due to some cultural issues.

Besides the compensation, another concern is the role is not close to the market, so I'm not sure if that is a good career path in the long run. I’m curious what exit opportunities will an eFX trader have later? Would you generally recommend it?

Thanks in advance!!
