I'm trying to find a link, but unsuccesful so far. You can try and find it on chron.com, but I don't think they'll have it up yet as the paper is just out. Very good write up Gene!!!!

Tonight, around midnight. It is only in print right now.

Front page article BTW. Really big deal. Mad props to Monty for everything he has done. This event will not disappoint.

About 10 or more major WSO posters will be flying in for the event. If we (me included) are spending cash on flights and hotels then you know this is legit.

im in houston too and i think this sounds like a cool event. the thing is though, the energy industry is so small in terms of people that if i attend and people in house at my firm find out it might work against me.

might be great for fresh grads though or senior/jrs in college. best of luck to you!

its a networking event and I have invited all my frieds who are in the industry in houston. If anyone makes a comment you can remind them that your trying to do your part in giving back.

I think there will be a lot of professionals in attendance, but not announcing their firms. No need to out yourself. Lot of university students as well.

I second what Ant said. I'm a professional and going to be at the event. Hell, I told my boss I was going and that I need some new biz cards for networking reasons. I may or may not have the cards in time though...
