The way she talks about causality in commodities markets....

Interesting that Olav Refvik (aka the King of NY Harbor) demanded that he be part of the predecessor HF Arrowhawk

Anyone know if she's single? Pretty and pretty well spoken...

She's definitely interesting to listen to, but I mean come on man she's busted.

My drinkin' problem left today, she packed up all her bags and walked away.

Pretty polarizing...hah.

Yeah no sht she isn't going to give any stunning revelations on commodities trading on CNBC, Forbes, or Bloomberg.

From what I've seen basically those talking heads always ask her if she wants to be long 'oil' and she always has to explain to them that she's a relative value trader trading relative value between grades, time, and location and looking for causal relationships that aren't present in equities. The other reason she brings it up is related to fund sizing, since her fund is doing some actual physical trades there are capacity constraints. Curious though how she competes on the phys side when the margins are thin and I doubt her fund has trade credit, unlike the Freepoints, Vitols, and Trafs of the world, so no leverage there.

Though I don't think Olav Refvik would have insisted on hiring her for Arrowhawk if she wasn't any good, and I don't think she would have been the main spin out fund taking a large chunk of the capital once Arrowhawk closed down if she stunk.... My guess is her set of strats were carrying the rest of the fund.

There seems to be a severe case of yellow fever happening on this site...
