Unfortunately unless you worked during "rita" or worked for a boss who has tradebook/stories from those days pretty difficult to understand the world we moving to. This was not simply a stop-out, this was due to multiple halts on the floor during settlement and the lack of tools for phyiscal firms to manage settlments when an arb is created. This has been brewing for 24 months and if you look at the "straddle cost" from july22 and next winter you would know the market is running out of tools to deal with these scenarios.

Lots of people who got used to infinite liquidity during the shale era are going to have to start to adjust to understand curve structure again will leave at that.
