Feel stuck in a rut. Would CFA or adding something improve it?
Pretty much what the title says. I've been on a bond desk for a regional BD for the last 2 years and genuinely feel like I'm just spinning my wheels. Lack of mentorship, struggling opening accounts. Simply, a feast or famine job without any way to know how to go and build a business.
Was wondering if somehow getting a CFA could help get me out of the rut. Or at the very least make me a little better at my role or get the ability to move to an analyst role on the buy side.
