FICC desk to start at DB

I’m an incoming summer intern at FICC group at Deutsche Bank, and we are asked to rank all desks that we have interests to enter for the summer rotation. We have credit, rates, FX, GEM(global emerging market), and macro structure desk. My background is math. So it’s pretty theoretical and therefore I don’t have extremely good coding skills. And I don’t have enough financial aspect background as well. I’m trying to read books and market news to get me know more about the financial market. Is there any suggestions on how to start my FICC desk? And I was also wondering which desk is DB really good at. I’m in London, just in case for your considerations and thoughts. Thank you so much!
