Figgie by Jane Street

WSO Community, I am curious whether anyone came across the Figgie game by Jane Street. Technically this game was used by Jane Street during their recruitment in one form or another. Nowadays, it is available online for everyone who want to try it. The question is how likely performance on this game can gain an interview with Jane Street? Is it any data suggesting that people who did well in this app, later could gain competitive edge during their application and actually received invitation?

I doubt playing it recreationally will help you much. I'm in the middle of interviewing and 1st round was basic quant brainteasers and stuff like that, and the 2nd and 3rd were just analyzing different games and figuring out strategies. This was more game theory / expected value stuff so if you took this game seriously it would probably help, but I don't think any more than something like poker.

Thank you for your reply, I think the main point here is not how it help during the interview process, the questions is whether it can get you invited
