Finding time for therapy during the summer

I was wondering when S&T interns find time to visit therapists during the summer. I currently see someone weekly but i feel that it would be almost impossible to continue this through the summer with the demands of my internship. How do people make it work during the summer?

I'm working Fortune 500 right and work + GMAT prep + 2 summer classes + marathon training has left me with no free time. I've been out of school 2 full weeks and I've hung out with friends twice, and both those time being my neighbor who lives 2 houses down. My activities outside of work (minus the training) finish up right around the time I finish my main project for the summer (mid July). Good luck finding some time and keep grinding it out.

My friends who had S&T internships didn't really work weekends, at least rarely did. So I would guess if you schedule for a Sat or Sun you can probably either make it in, or work around it with your team.

This is clearly something you need for your mental wellbeing. I would recommend being honest with your team and ask if it would be acceptable for you to go during the week. If that's not possible then schedule for weekends if your therapist will allow. But if I were you I'd seriously consider how comfortable you'd be with a team/firm that won't allow you to do something like that.

Not on the same tip at all but I told my manager that it's really important for me to get to the gym. He said if I have a ton of stuff to do he's fine if I go to the gym in the early evening (after market hours) but that obviously I should return to finish my work. So I don't see why therapy wouldn't get the same respect!
