Fixed Income Research to Trading
Hi guys,
I had a question for you traders out there. I just got a job at a middle market bank. I am working in Fixed Income Research for distressed debt. Is it possible to eventually jump from research to trading? Or once you're in research you stay in research? I'm curious, as I am new to finance and have accounting as a background. I am very interested in career progression.
Any insight that can be provided I would greatly appreciate. Thanks a bunch
