Flow Credit Trading need help

Hi, I have a final round interviews for an analyst position on a credit trading desk next week and was wondering what kind of things should I know that would impress an interviewer. The firm mentioned that it would be a mixture of competency and technical interviews.

I have an applied maths background so my financial knowledge isnt great. I have one internship under my belt however that was in a support role. Any help you could give would be much appreciated.

for mbs securities - start googling terms such as CDR (conditional default rate), CPR (conditional prepayment rate - this typically includes defaults; therefore, the true voluntary CPR is CPR-CDR = CPR(true)). This will go into your cash flow assumptions in intex. Also, read up on what's going with the foreclosure mess right now. Typically you flush the delinquency pipeline of 60days, 90days, BK, FC and ROE through when determining OTTI or trying to determine a MV based on your assumptions. However, how long will the Foreclosure mess halt liquidations based on servicers and state.....

I have extensive experience with this - if you want just PM me
