FX structured products trading
Hello everyone, I'll be starting my summer internship very soon at a major BB, and I ll be joining the FX structured products trading desk.
They told me they picked me due to my mathy-quant background, so expectations are quite high and i'm a bit stressed out. I have a very good understanding of vanilla equity options markets dynamics and know the big differences between fx and equities.
But the leap to the weird stuff they trade seems really big, a lot more correlation stuff and greeks to manage and probabely loads of things i'm not aware of.
Do you know a good book that deals with FX structured products the way a trader would be ? I mean not a quant book with brownian motions and stochastic volatility models everywhere. not that i don't like that but i would like a more practical one.
Thanks a lot!
Would you mind giving your stats? I'm interested in doing a similar internship as you and would like to get a feel for the "requirements." Did you have any work experience in quantitative finance before this?
