gap semester/year to look for a different internship before graduating?
hey wso,
i'm currently interning at a BB for sales and trading, and i'm halfway through the internship. i realized i honestly didn't like the role of s&t at all and tbh i don't think i'm getting the FT either due to headcount and performance reasons. i'm wondering whether it would be a good idea to just take a gap sem/year to focus on recruiting and focus on looking at different roles and seeing which ones i like. i also feel like there's no seats for analyst positions anyways
is this a good idea? or am i just jumping into conclusions? am i overthinking? is it worth it to delay grad??
