It would have to be under $20,000. If not the online stigma would undervalue the degree substantially.
A bit pricey.
Do you have a tution program for those whos company will reimburse for tuition at the end of the semester once final grades are posted?
I can only imagine the face of the manager looking through your Resume and the horror of having "graduated" from online school, it carries a lot of stigma, but I predict in the future it will be more acceptable.
"horror" huh? I hope you grow out of the naive belief that prestige and whatever else you learn on this site resembles anything close to reality.
I visited Georgetown last week and observed a class in person. This is a very different type of online offering. Plus you have both an on campus week and an international experience so you do get that in person experience.
I was very very impressed and am working on a post for my site detailing what I saw. I wouldn't let an online stigma dissuade someone from checking this out.
63k sticker price in total for an online degree is plenty enough to dissuade a lot of people.
Fair enough, but when you consider how much many other programs cost with living expenses and the fact that you have to forego a years worth of income it isn't that egregious.
Places have been saying this for years, but it's still not accepted. It could be a high quality program, but no one is going to know that. Hiring managers see online degree and ignore it.
Not to mention the ridiculous cost.
20 months is a long time. Any way to take an accelerated version and do it in a year? Its really only 9 classes. 9 classes in 12 months seems somewhat doable.
@wallstreetoasis I don't ever begrudge you for trying to make money and selling any of the products you can. However, putting this on the front page really feels like it's watering down the good work that is done on the site.
Edit. I have no interest in engaging in this debate.
63k is fucking ridiculous. In 10 years, this shit will be less than $500.
geez dude what discount rate are you using?
