Global Co-Head..How much power does he have?
How much power does a global co-head in getting someone a job at a BB?
This is not for an analyst position, but rather an associate position?

Co head of what? IB? A ton of power. Security, IT, or something else? Not anywhere near as much.
The person I am alluding to is a global co-head within DCM -- Structuring
I come from a non-target -- therefore my only chance of getting in is from networking.
He'll obviously have a lot of power within DCM. Depending on the structure of the firm he probably also have a lot of power within other Capital Markets Group. Some banks include traditional banking groups such as leverage finance within capital markets. Either way he'll be a great contact who can put you in touch with the group that you're most interested in.
Can this person pretty much get me a job if he really wanted to within his division?
