Goldman Sachs - quant strategist vs trader
I consider applying either to S&T or Engineering (quant strat) division. Could you guys give me some insights/advice?

GS allows you to apply to 3 divisions - I did both
How does the application process look like if you apply to both?
In the application they allow you to pick your preferences, if you pick engineering you have to say what you're interested in (quant strat, cybersecurity, SWE, etc.) If you pick quant, you'll be given a hackerrank w coding and math questions (linear algebra and up + prob&stats). You will also get a hirevue if you pass that round, where you'll be asked more fit questions. good luck!
Thanks, I wonder if it is possible to transfer later between the divisions?
