GSAM or BAML Sales & Trading
I have interviews for both, but don't know which to go for in the event I need to decide. I originally wanted to do S&T, but more for the sales side and my position in GSAM would be more sales based, so I am unbiased towards either. Which gives more exit opportunities?
Based on the most helpful WSO content, here's what you need to know:

Culture and Fit:
Ultimately, your decision should depend on your long-term career goals and personal preferences. If you're leaning towards a sales-focused career with strong internal mobility, GSAM might be the better choice. However, if you're looking for a more traditional S&T experience with potential exits into trading or hedge funds, BAML S&T could be a great fit.

You need to decide which side of S&T you like better. GSAM sales and BofA trading are both top-tier for their industries, you wouldn’t be wrong with either if you get into the best groups.
