GS/MS/JPM S&T Interns -- how's the SA program so far?
Just curious, there's been a lot of talk on IB forum about internship experience so far, but not a lot here -- at the top places, how has experience been? Is it interesting since it's all market-related, with events literally occurring/changing by the minute? Or because of remote nature, are you doing strictly longer term "projects" that have no bearing on what's going on at any given moment?
Bump
Why only those three lol. Citi did better than MS and BAML did better than GS this quarter (and just in general). JPM on the other hand is of course a monster.
Unless you’re into only equities specifically in which case I don’t know if they’ve invented computers that comment on WSO.
Yeah, I don't know why I singled out those three -- I suppose I could have just written "BB," since I was just curious about the high-volume places. But like you said, a number of banks other than the Big Three still have very active trading businesses in various areas.
But regarding your last comment about equity... I imagine that's in reference to the increased automation in that area? And if it is, is it really true that if you're a passionate follower of the equity markets, S&T equities is not a good place to be? In other words, if you like talking stocks and think you'd be good at selling them/discussing them with clients (and one really isn't interested in the FI arena), is S&T perhaps not a great place to be?
