Help a curious student

I’ve been interested in finance since freshman year, specifically S&T. I’m currently a hs senior ( I know I shouldn’t be on this site but it is what it is) for unfortunate reasons I’ll be going to cc for a year then transfer. I’m currently working on learning about the financial markets & different S&T groups and been also reading WSJ & investopedia . I know this isn’t a lot so I wanted to post here to ask about what else I should be doing to increase my knowledge as if I manage to transfer after a year I’ll be a sophomore and will either be behind my classmates or end up delaying my graduation.
- thanks in advance for however reads this and does respond, I appreciate it :)

Unironically, put some money in an investment account and start trading. Follow market, news, brainstorm with AI what explains some moves in stocks, etc. makes you feel more emotionally invested in the market

I can also recommend Investments by Zvi Bodie (textbook) + some light reading on public investing/memoirs, like Market Wizards Series / Liars Poker / When genius failed

You also have this thread consolidating lots of topics on S&T: https://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forum/trading/what-books-should-i-read-…
