HK Goldman Off-cycle Equity Derivatives Structuring Team in Global Markets Division interview questions
Has anybody applied for Hongkong Goldman Off-cycle Equity Derivatives Structuring Team in Global Markets Division? Has anyone applied for HK GM off-cycle? Or is anyone working in this group? I only prepared for IBD before but just got the interview opportunity for this division. Greatly appreciated it if someone can let me know what interview questions they may ask or the process of the application.
I interviewed with GS Off-Cycle Securitized Structuring (Hong Kong) last year.
My interviewer tested me to my limits. I got barin teaser quick maths. I was asked to explain my prior knowledge about structured products. We discussed how the delta/gamma of a call/put equity option changes as it goes from OTM to ITM. I'd say it's pretty technical but the interviewers were kind and great.
My personal recommendation is to skim the graphs in "FX Derivatives Schoolbook" book. Skim the Option Greek chapters in the famous John C. Hull book on "Options".
Thanks a lot!! I don't know the groups under GS global market division. Is your group Securitized structuring the same as Equity Derivatives Structuring that I applied?
(This was the only spot opened in HK so I have to apply this division)
