Open a futures account- fund it and buy a contract. Be careful- oil trading is not easy and the contract is not cheap.

If you have to ask how to buy an oil contract.... then I would highly recommend not buying any.

at the time of posting, it was 97-98 dollars, it's 100 now.

i woulda made measly moneies.

thanks though!

troll?

you forget those contracts are usually leveraged, you actually would have made a pretty good amt

If i wanted to troll, I would have thought of more devious ways. I really knew oil prices were going to go up.

I just couldn't figure out how to trade contracts since scottrade doesn't show me how to.

i type in like oil or some shit and nothing comes up or even if it does, it's not the right one.

I don't really know how to go about buying one still and as of recent, i've been so busy getting swamped by schoolwork, it hasn't been the forefront of my priorities.

so no, i don't troll...i'm really fucking stupid.
