How is TD culture? Be honest

I am starting a co-op term in the trading floor really soon and wanna know more about the culture at the bank. Everyone had said to me that it's amazing and the best at Bay st but be honest it's that good? Anyway I am just excited and overwhelmed!

Oh, you're in for a treat! Based on the most helpful WSO content, TD culture is often considered one of the best, if not the best, on the street in Toronto. The seniors really make an effort to look out for juniors and be considerate to junior work-life balance on workstreams.

Here are some highlights: - The hours are generally better than other banks. As an analyst, you might pull 100+ hour weeks, but most groups average 60-70 hours. - The environment is respectful. There's no serious abuse, yelling, swearing, or talking down in the Toronto office. - There are regular junior socials and group-wide emails to leave early on long weekends. Exceptions are required for weekend work more than 6-8 hours. - Job security is quite safe and considerate compared to most banks. They are the bank that cuts the least in a recession and tries their best to limit the reductions in bonuses.

Remember, banking is still banking, but if you're free, there's a lot to appreciate about TD's culture. So, buckle up and get ready for an exciting co-op term!
