How much entertaining to salespeople do at junior levels?

Do junior salespeople take clients out to dinners, sporting events, etc? How often? I would assume they would only be tagging along with a senior salesperson who would be hosting the event, dinner, etc. Is this even as prevalent in the industry anymore? I know a few people I have spoken to say that it is not very common anymore (1-2x/month).

**EDIT: Looking back at this I should have phrased it more along the lines of "How often are junior salespeople (or even traders) brought along when entertaining clients?"
