How Strong Is This Bond Market Right Now?

What is going on in the bond market? Are yields set to rise? I'm very interested to hear what trades people are putting on right now. On the one hand, yields have collapsed over the last 12 months and a 2016 like ascent back to 2.5 on the 10yr is possible.

But is that really a likely scenario when rates are so low everywhere else in the world? No, I don't think so. I like a portfolio anchored by TIPS and cash. I'm just now taking on more exposure to equities as I've been almost fully invested in TIPS, cash and commodities plays since October of 2018. The market has been incredibly resilient and I'm inclined to believe that it can move higher from here based on the dramatic swing in yields. Any good news could continue to push yields back up for which I would be a heavy buyer.

What you guys think about this move? Is this the beginning of a great buying opportunity? Or this for real?
