Important Metrics in Sales and Trading desks
Hi
Can someone help me with what the usual metrics are when comparing performances of different trading units in a bank?
For example, assume there is fixed income, equities, ibd, rates and currencies desks. What metrics do we look at while evaluating these desks performances?
Some of them I know are revenues, CAGR, CIR etc. Can someone guide me with possibly exhaustive metrics that are considered in the banks? Also can someone expound on metrics at the group level such as CET1 ratio, liquidity coverage ratios among other metrics.
