There are general frameworks you can apply to any market. Look at the concept of marginal economics. How much gas is produced in a region? What is the marginal demand tier? If transportation serves as a demand tier, how much of it is there, what price does it operate on, and where does it connect? What do the marginal economics of the region it connects to look like? And so on. Apply to your chosen area. Knowing how to think is half the battle.
