Intern (JPM - CIB Ops) - How to get into Markets?

Hello everyone, I am currently an intern at JPM - CIB Ops. My question is do you maybe have some advice for me how to get into the front office (Sales and Trading)? Maybe someone already was in the same situation and can share their experience. And do you think that at some locations it is easier to get front office internships (Markets) than at others?

Thank you very much in advance!

Intern and get a FT offer in Ops. Once you start FT, start pinging the junior traders/sales people that you know, your friends know, or cold email (assuming you reach out politely) for "coffee". Learn about what they do. Ask them to introduce you to others on their team. Repeat, grab coffee with those people. After you feel the time is "right", make the "ask" to the person you have the best relationship with, and indicate if they or anyone they know have openings in Sales OR trading (don't say you wanna do either or), that you are interested. Keep hustlin.
