Interview Summer Internship Morgan Stanley
Hello,
I have a 1st round phone interview tomorrow for a summer internship, S&T at Morgan Stanley in London, and a VP is going to interview me. What should I expect concerning the type of questions ? More technical than motivational or the opposite ? I'm also an intern at a structuring desk currently so I imagine he's going to ask me a lot about that too...
Thank you for your replies
Morgan Stanley Summer Internship Interview- Help? (Originally Posted: 01/29/2010)
Hey guys,
I got an upcoming interview with Morgan Stanley and was wondering if you guys could give me some possible insight into it? I think the position is in their Model Review Group in their Market Risk Department?
They said absolutely nothing about the position in the email, just what time would be good to set up a phone interview. Screening I think. I sent my resume initially to a general recruiting email of MS. I did not apply to a specific job.
All I have is a Mech Eng bachelors. I mentioned I am starting my Masters in FE in fall 2010. I have lots of Computational Fluid Dynamics knowledge and publications.
I am currently doing research in 2 finance topics with profs. This will lead to two papers. I mentioned this on my resume. I have been reading Hulls book for the last few days tryna brush up on basics.
Any idea on what kind of questions I can expect?
The person interviewing me is a PhD. Should I assume a lot of technical stuff? but its only for an internship?
Any form of information is greatly appreciated

No one got any clue? I went through all the other threads but saw nothing about MS Market Risk D or Model Review Group.
I actually interviewed for this same department but for an undergrad role how did your interview turnout?
