Introduction + SIG Interview Questions

Hi Everybody,

Long-time lurker finally decided to post on WSO..a little about myself:

Senior at target
Interned at BB this past summer in S&T; looking to go into prop trading

Now for my real purpose...
I have an upcoming first round interview with SIG (Susquehanna) for their research analyst position; on-campus.

The posts on here regarding SIG interviews have been fairly dated, and somewhat mixed..looking for recent testimonies or insights to the interview process at SIG.

Would really like some input from the community here.

Thanks all,

If you don't mind my asking, what makes you want to switch from BB S&T to prop? Did you get a BB S&T offer?

I interviewed with SIG for a non-trading role last year (they don't recruit for trading at my school at all) and they asked a couple simple probability questions. Besides that it was fairly common behavioral stuff and they wanted to know how my coding was. I think they're big on probability stuff so make sure you know Bayes' theorem and practice with common probability/brainteaser type questions. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
