Is an internship possible for me?

I feel like I get filtered out of the internship process almost immediately due to my GPA and school. Is there something I need to do to counteract this? I feel like I know more about the industry and the internship process than my peers but I just can’t crack in.

Sophomore at a non-target

3.2 GPA (bad first semester, other two are both 3.7s and deans list)

One wealth management internship freshman year

I network on LinkedIn, have talked to many associate/VP/analysts from places like JPM and MS over the phone and have even grabbed coffee with some great bankers and traders in NYC.

if you're into transactions on the financial market, maybe you could pass some of side exams. like the series for exemple, and the virtual simulation by the forage, or the bloomberg terminal certification.

you could also manage a capital from a prop firm like FTMO and prove your skills through an orderbook
