Is GS VP in S&T a “high level, senior” role?

Throw away account. Female here. I also work in finance but a different field. Recently I was approached by a matchmaker that they have a candidate who is a “very high level, senior” person in finance looking for a partner. I agreed to meeting based on what the matchmaker told me. Turned out the person is a VP at GS doing sales. I may not be the most plug in in terms of sales and trading world, but I don’t think that’s a high level, senior role? Correct me if I’m wrong….
