I’m not sure what you are looking for here. Whenever there are more job cuts than normal (more than just standard attrition, etc) and revenues are down, positions are at risk. This question gets asked frequently and it’s usually the same response: junior jobs are usually safer, pulling offers creates reputation risk for banks, and generally small cuts + regular attrition does the job. 

That being said nobody is going to be able to give you a good answer, especially because the situation can be pretty different depending on your bank. So unless you share info about what bank and someone happens to be senior enough there to know (and want to share that info) you are going to end up with the same general responses. 

 

Why would S&T get cut? They had record years due to market volatility across all the banks.
