List of Prop Shops that offer salaries...
I was thinking it would be helpful if we could list prop-shops that offer salaries, what the salary is, any sign on bonus, etc...

Chicago: TransMarket Group - 60k Group One - 42-50k (+5k sign-on) CTC - 65k (+ 5k sign-on) DRW - 65k (+ 5k sign-on) Optiver - 85k+
Philly: SIG: 50-60k
New York: Jane Street - 100k (+ 60k year-end) FNYS - 60k Trillium - 26k Chimera - 26k
Some others that I am almost positive offer salaries, maybe someone else could fill in the numbers. Wolverine - ? Spot - ? Peak6 - ? Jump - ? IMC - ?
on a further note, anyone deciding between offers would be stupid to let these first year salaries determine which company they choose. first year salary should be insignificant in comparison to your salary/bonus after 3 years.
Jane Street I heard is 60K + 60K Bonus on average. However most (if not all) of the full-time hires were summer interns first.

opiver is 85k
they've promised a friend quite a bit more than 85k for first year salary. however, 80k is the base they advertise.
aachimp- what position is this for, im pretty sure 85k is starting salary for a college grad going in as a trader

confirmed from two of my friends.
DRW is 65k base + 5k signing. FNYS is 60k base. Trillium/Chimera are about 26k base.
i think schonfeld is a parent organization or in some way related to trillium, so it probably also pays 26k
Remember that Philadelphia's COL is much lower than New York. I would be interested to hear if anyone knows about Wolverine also.
I c, then what is the average first year base salary for an algorithmic trader at a small prop shop in NYC?
Trillium is $500/wk (basically 26k/year) until either your one year anny or you make 100k for your acct, whichever comes first.
Just got hired as an intern and was wondering if anyone knew why the base for traders is so low?
Group1 is 50k + 5k sign on
Is Jane Street's base salary only 60K? I thought it was around 75-80K.

are any of these prop shops based in Asia (except TransMarket)? Any idea abt firms in Singapore? Hrd of one called Schneider Trading Associates, but can't find anything on their site for offices in Asia

Anybody know what the training programs are like at the Chicago firms/if there is any? That would be very helpful. I know this is old, but the list is still relevant.
