Any good links/books you can recommend to get introduced to Sales & Trading? About how everything works, strategy, etc.?
I have the Vault Guide to Sales & Trading, but was looking for something else as well. I'm looking to know more about equity trading in general, if possible.
I just read Den of Thieves. It is about the insider trading scandals during the LBO craze of the late 80's. It makes for some interesting reading.
Liars poker, Ugly Americans are both great reads. They detail the lifestyle more than strategy. Good luck finding a book that details any sort of s&t strategy.... thats proprietary information for the most part.
Den of Thieves? Great book, I agree, but completely irrelevant. Also not completely fair and factual. I say also read Payback, gives the other side of the story. Anyway, Liar's Poker is very solid, also read Market Wizards to understand trading, and Cramer's book was about his time as a salesman and then his HF.
