Any of them which are at least as quantitative as economics.
BSc Sociology
BSc Mathematics and Economics
For trading something from the department of Stats or Maths would help. Any degree would be fine from those choices apart from Acturial Science. I am in a joint honours Econ course and majority of the econ stuff is just learning intuiton behind everything and doing differentials. From what I know BSc Economics is alot harder - if you get BSc Economics you can switch to BSc Econometrics and Mathematical Economics which sounds the best imo name wise, just more math as opposed to intuiton etc. I have seen some Mathematics and Econ guys get SA offers for trading so would probs aim for that.
Thank you for your input.
out of curiosity why not acturial science? Thought it's very mathematical
I think that’s more for the insurance/actuary route
