Market-Making vs Sales Trading vs Equity Sales
I'm starting a graduate position at a MM bank in London, with rotations in Market-Making, Sales Trading and Sales within the equities division.
Which path is best in today's market? Would love to hear in terms of comp, exits and relative levels of 'future proof' from those in the business.
For context, I've spent a year in buyside equity research during my final year at a top UK target school, and have interned in equity S&T prior.
Thank you!
