Mercuria or Bobst

Hi everyone,

I have two job offers for a similar position, — one from Bobst SA and the other from Mercuria. I’m trying to decide which company would be the better choice in terms of career growth, work culture, compensation, benefits, and overall opportunities.

If anyone has experience or insights about working at Bobst or Mercuria, could you please share your thoughts? What are the pros and cons of each? How do they compare in terms of professional development and employee satisfaction?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

Why do you say that Phys gonna be more desirable than other S&T jobs? I think it’s more about what matches your personality. I also don’t think commodities is getting any easier to crush it. Ask any phys trader and margins have gotten thinner over the last couple decades with heightened competition. Big contangos and inversions are where traders get the opportunity to make big time money and to me it seems to be becoming more rare in a lot of markets

Edit: Still yeah, Mercuria would be the offer I take. Heard great things about culture and rep is very good in the industry
