Middle Office after MBA

I spoke with a friend in the industry and he said I would probably have to go into Middle Office after I graduate my MBA since I dont have prior experience. I was hoping to get an internship this summer to make up for the lack of experience. Do you concur with my friend's thought?

abacabDepends on school you are going to and banks you are targeting. (e.g. you most likely won't make it to CS Bonds sales with MBA from DeVry)

Wake Forest. Looking for Wells, B of A, BBT (if they have S&T) any other Middle Market Investment Bank in Charlotte NC.
