Middle office progression/starting

Hello all, I have accepted an MO position starting soon in a specific trading sector. I have a few questions for those experienced in the field.

I was shown a lot of systems they use, and it seems rather complicated. How complicated is it? Will it be difficult to learn?

What’s progression like? And by that I mean, how does one progress through MO ranks fast? such as VP?

What’s salary progression like Year to year?
