Moving to a different trading shop considerations?

I understand a lot of people say to not stay at your first job for more than a few years but I am a bit hesitant.

For context, I trade power in virtuals/DA and trade some FTRs as well. I have pretty decent ownership of the product books but ultimately the payout isn’t as great as I hear what’s out there (roughly half of market rate).

There’s also no one really senior left here to really learn more from. I’ve kind of picked things up on my own and probably can replicate what I do elsewhere. There are traditional market makers (JS/SIG etc) building FTR desks and other shops where I can be a PM of my own pod (likely just virtuals). Any advice on how to navigate my future? Making mid 6 figures most years here seems ok but not sure if I can develop more / get a bigger pay day elsewhere
