Need advice - Trying to break into S&T FT in NYC

Hi!

To give some context - I am from Asia but my family had applied for Immigrant Visa a while back. We recently got the approval. This means that we have to stay in the US for 3 months straight to get a green card.

I did an S&T internship over the summer at an MM but did not end up with a return. Got great feedback from all 3 of my rotations but was told it was a headcount issue. I graduated in December and have been struggling with landing FT roles in S&T. Its also a little more challenging here in Asia (SG/HK) as many roles require Mandarin (Not a native speaker)

I was wondering if banks in NYC are still actively recruiting for grads? The reason I am insisting on grad programmes instead of a "direct hire" as the former would mean a start date of around Jun/Jul which would give me enough time to get my green card.

I am open to jobs within sales and the title (i.e. Analyst/Assistant) or the bank is not a concern. Genuinely enjoyed my internship over the summer :)

TIA!
