Need Help - Seeking info about interest rate sales groups

I am solely seeking information about interest rate sales groups. Can someone who knows from experience please direct me to league tables or let me know roughly how different banks rank on prestige? Also, could you refer specifically to Lehman, Morgan Stanley, Goldman, BofA, and Wachovia?

League tables don't really matter in S&T. They only help if you're looking at shear volume of underwriting because you want to trade cash bonds or something. No real league tables exist for structured products and most derivatives. That said, Jimbo's take is pretty spot on. For the last year or two out of MBA programs Lehman's been the hot firm, so probably Goldman and Lehman first, with Morgan Stanley pretty close (all the turmoil the last few years has hurt their recruiting, however). BofA would be very, very far behind the rest and Wachovia behind that. That said, that's the associate viewpoint. Analyst level may have a different take on it.
